Orthodontic Braces

Braces are the most commonly used orthodontic appliance, and for good reason: they reliably deliver the complex, three-dimensional tooth movements needed to shape your best smile. Treatment times vary from person to person, but many people begin to notice improvements within the first few months. 

• Brackets – Small attachments securely bonded to your teeth, acting like handles to guide precise adjustments. 
• Wires – Threaded through the brackets to gently move your teeth or act as “train tracks” along which your teeth move. 
• Ligatures – Elastic O-rings used to secure the wire to the brackets. These are typically changed at each visit, and come in a wonderful variety of colours you can personalise to suit your style. 

During each follow-up appointment, Dr Philip Nguyen will carefully adjust your braces, monitor your progress, and address any questions or concerns. This hands-on approach ensures your treatment stays on track and remains as comfortable as possible.
